Oath Swearing In South Utah County

This evening will mark the beginning of terms in office for a few newly elected mayors and city council members in local municipalities.

 At 6 PM tonight in the Payson City Council Chambers, at 439 West Utah Avenue, Bill Wright is expected to be sworn in as mayor, with Brett Christensen and Taresa Hiatt as Payson’s newly elected city council members.

 An inauguration ceremony was held in Santaquin yesterday afternoon for incumbent Mayor Kirk Hunsaker, incumbent Councilmember Nick Miller and newly elected Councilmember Betsy Montoya.
