Daniel Oler has been awarded the Payson/Elk Ridge Annual UVU Scholarship.  The scholarship has been funded through profits from the Payson/Elk Ridge Corn Maze, sponsored by the two cities. The maze operated during the fall of 2011 and 2012  at the southwest edge of Payson.

Mr. Oler received a partial scholarship for the Fall 2014 semester at Utah Valley University.

Each year, scholarship recipients and sponsors are invited to attend a luncheon at the UVU Alumni House, where they meet and talk over lunch.  The students are invited to share their personal,  educational, and career goals with their scholarship sponsor.

This year’s luncheon was attended by Mr. Oler and Payson Mayor Rick Moore, who expressed his congratulations to the local scholarship recipient.
