Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

JANIS COOMBS PROVSTGAARD

Janis Coombs Provstgaard, our loving mother, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 21, 1929 in American Fork, Utah to Ralph and Annie Lee Hedgepeth Coombs. She married James Sheldon Provstgaard on September 10, 1948. They are the parents of 5 children, they have 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  The funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at the Payson First Ward, 225 S. 400 E., at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Payson Cemetery.

GWYN CHAPMAN HARMER

Our beloved mother, Gwyn Chapman Harmer passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015, at the age of 86.  Mom was born in Manti on May 10th, 1929, to Samuel and Stella Chapman.  She married Richard (Dick) Harmer on April 11, 1951, later sealed in the Manti Temple.   Services will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015, 11:00 A.M.,  Payson Second Ward, 274 South Main. Friends may call at Walker Mortuary Monday, 587 South 100 West, September 14, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on the 15th from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M.  Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.


MYRON VIVAN OLSON

Fitting for a Labor Day, our hard working and beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, and friend Myron Vivan Olson passed away September 7, 2015, in Santaquin, Utah.  He was born over 95 years ago on December 20, 1919, in Santaquin, to Vivan Joseph and Ada Naomi (York) Olson, he married Ethel Virginia Walin in Chicago, Illinois, on May 11, 1946, their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.  Ethel passed away October 2, 2005, and he married Bonnie Joyce Clement Kay on February 12, 2011.  A viewing will be held Friday evening, September 18, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, and on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to funeral services, which will be held at the Historic Downtown LDS Chapel, 90 South 200 East, Santaquin, funeral to begin at 1 p.m.  Interment at Santaquin City Cemetery with full Military Rites under the direction of the Santaquin American Legion Post 84.
