The Castilla Hot Springs resort in Spanish Fork (pictured above) was described in a brochure compiled around 1910 by A.F. Engberg as a beautiful destination for visitors.  Its inclusion in his brochure adds icing on the cake for those whose interest in what the Strawberry Valley Project would do for Utah Valley, once it was completed, had already been piqued by his earlier descriptions of the potential for farming, ranching, gardening, and orchard growing, along with accompanying growth in commerce and graceful living once supplemental water and inexpensive electrical power were both in full flow.
