Street Opens; City Crews Applauded for a Job Well Done

A patron strums his guitar from a chair on the newly paved sidewalk in front of Joe Coffee & Espresso, one of several businesses located inside the Commercial Place building at 145 East on Utah Avenue.

Following a temporary closure, traffic is now free to flow along Utah Avenue, from 100 East to 200 East, in Payson. Parking there has resumed as well.

The street opened yesterday after Payson City crews completed a weeks-long project, repaving the road and replacing the curb, gutter, and sidewalk in front of the Commercial Place business complex and homes.

Commercial Place occupants, including The Payson Chronicle, thank Payson City workers for a job well done.
