From A Breakfast Club to Website Instruction, Chamber Has Busy Schedule Ahead

Pictured: The Payson & Santaquin Area Chamber of Commerce office is located in the historic Downtown Payson business district, at 22 South Main.

Members of Payson & Santaquin Area Chamber of Commerce have their collective calendars filled
with events in the coming weeks.  Chamber President Ty Jones laid out a few of their activities earlier
this month as he spoke briefly before the Payson City Council.

The Breakfast Club, said Mr Jones, is a continually running event conducted for members by the
Chamber of Commerce in the early morning hours.  Breakfast is shared, as is some advice by a guest
speaker whose leadership experience can be useful to the local business community.
In an effort to help local business owners establish a shop space online, Google representatives are
slated to give a demonstration on websites at an upcoming Chamber event, remarked the organization’s
president and owner of a historic downtown Payson business, The Insurance Center.

Mr Jones also presented the Business of the Month Award to Sugar Ridge Bakery and Soup proprietor,
Melanie Keck, at the early March Payson City Council Meeting.  Thursday, March 21, marks an on-site
presentation to Sugar Ridge, which is located at 17 South Main Street, Payson. It runs from 12-1 PM.
