Charity Baseball Tournament Slated for Saturday in Payson

A charity baseball tournament slated for Saturday is taking shape, said Recreation Director Karl Teemant as he shared his bi-weekly report with local leaders at last night’s city council meeting in Payson. Seven teams have signed on to play so far, he noted.

The June 18 tournament will take place at Legends Fields, located at 800 South Main Street, in Payson. It starts at 10 AM.  Proceeds will benefit the Addict II Athlete foundation, according to Mr. Teemant.
