Public Power As Well As Public Empowerment Through Club Contributions Discussed at June 9 Gathering of Payson Lions

Payson Lion Rhett Huff gives an update on local fundraising campaigns before introducing guest speaker, Jennifer Nelson, Human Resource Director for South Utah Valley Electric Service District (SESD).

Jennifer Nelson, who has served as SESD’s Human Resource Director for four years, illustrated her discussion on power with a Powerpoint presentation as she met with Payson Lions at the Peteetneet Museum and Cultural Arts Center.

Longtime Payson Lion and Tailtwister Ned Deuel pauses for a moment to view a display created Secretary and Treasurer Jennifer Huff (not pictured) depicting the Payson chapter’s efforts in recent years.  The display is destined for exhibition at the Lions Clubs International Convention that will take place in Japan in late-June.
