Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.  All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” ~ Helen Keller

Forthcoming funeral services are planned for the following friends from our community. Complete versions of these obituaries may also be found in The Payson Chronicle.

ROSS LERWILL
Ross passed away at home on May 8, 2019, only twenty days shy of his 58th birthday.

Ross was born in Payson, Utah, to his loving parents Jay and Mary Ann (Lloyd) Lerwill on May 28,1961. The family soon moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, for a new job. Six years later, sister Karen and brother Ricky were born to complete the family.

They moved back to Payson, where Ross got his first Shetland Pony, and as he grew, the horses got bigger. Ross was a very good horseman. He went from horses to motorcycles. He loved camping and riding, especially with Dan and the Boys.

Soon his love for cars began. He went and completed auto body school and he started working in his dad's auto body shop. Ross soon became a master at auto body and paint, along with many years in the heating and A/C industry.

Ross married Karen Brook and together they had two children, Jayda and Koby. They later divorced but remained good friends.

Ross is survived by his parents, Jay and Mary Ann Lerwill, his sister Karen (Marcus) Perry, brother Rick Lerwill; his children Melissa Madruga, Brooke Messersmith, Jayda Lerwill, Koby Lerwill, and three grandchildren.

A memorial in his honor will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Payson Memorial Park, 200 South Main, Payson, Utah, at 12:30 PM.
