Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

JOAN BIGLER OBERG
Joan Bigler Oberg, 85, of Payson, Utah passed away peacefully on December 13, 2016.

She was born on July 23, 1931 in Payson, Utah to Pearl Butterfield and David Bigler. She was the youngest of six children. She married Marvin T. Oberg on October 7, 1950. They are the parents of five children, Pam (Shirl) Christensen, Jan White, Trudy (Rick) Steele, Holly (Dale) Beckstrom and Troy (Shannon) Oberg.

Joan lived a good life. She was smart, witty and wise, adventurous and unique. She had a fun personality. She was a good sport and laughed easily. She loved cars, cards and her cabins along with the many friendships she developed throughout her life.

Joan is survived by her husband Marvin; their five children, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and her sister Faith Greaves.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 2-4 p.m.  at the Walker Funeral Home in Payson, 587 South 100 West, Payson.
