Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

Barrie Cyril Larson
1948-2016

Mr. Barrie Cyril Larson, 68, of Payson Utah, passed away on Saturday, November 26,2016 in Peru, with his loving wife right by his side. Barrie's final days were spent doing what he loved to do, Traveling and seeing  the world.

Barrie was born in Payson, Utah on April 14, 1948 to Tom and Gladys Larson, the oldest of three children. Barrie was a 1966 Payson High School graduate. Barrie continued his education at Brigham Young University. Barrie Enlisted in the United States Army on November 27,1967 and proudly served his country. Barrie was assigned to the United States Army Fifth Infantry Division, and served in Vietnam, earning the status of a Vietnam Combat Veteran. After honorable service, Barrie established himself as a successful business man.

Barrie's life was fulfilled with adventure and happiness. Barrie's contagious and energetic personality touched everyone who had the privilege to meet him. Barrie was a compassionate spirit, combined with wisdom, strength, courage and integrity. The quality of life exceeded the quantity of time he was with us. Barrie was a loving, caring, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Barrie enjoyed watching sports, gardening, camping, traveling, but he enjoyed spending  time with family above everything else.

Barrie is survived by his wife, Dawna Larson; mother of his 4 children, Kathie Larson; children Lori Moulton, Tony Larson, Karrie Larson-Hernandez, and Christopher Larson; siblings Christy Metz and Guy Larson; grandchildren, Austin Larson, Treston Moulton, Gage Moulton, A.J. Larson, Aspen Larson, and Adelle Hernandez; best friend Huck (the terrier).

Barrie is preceded in death by his parents Tom and Gladys Larson; and previous wife Laurie Brinkerhof Larson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13,2016 at Noon at the Payson 6th Ward Chapel, 780 West 500 South , Payson.  A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12,2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home in Payson, 587 South 100 West, and from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to funeral.
