Hot Dogs! Hot Dogs! Feed the Family Mondays and Help Build a Teen Room at the Payson Library

You think there’s nothing like DodgerDogs? YankeeDogs? Yep, Major League Baseball hot dogs at about 5 bucks apiece are pretty good.

Are they as tasty as world famous Nathan’s Hot Dogs? Every Monday night in August, Payson Lions Club is cooking up Nathan’s All Beef Hot Dogs in the Breezeway next to the Payson Library. At a buck and a half a piece (3.00 dollars will add on a drink and a cookie) you can’t get a better deal anywhere.

And guess what? The profits go toward the ONE MILLION PENNY campaign to build a TEEN ROOM at the Payson Library.

Penny jars will soon be all over town for you to add pennies, or whatever change you would like, to help the project.

Rhett Huff, past Lions Club President, is coordinating the effort. “I hope you will join us in a ‘Great Penny Jar Drop off’ and bring your small penny jar and add it to our large penny jar.”
Hot dogs with all the ‘fixins’ will be prepared in the breezeway next to the Payson City Library the next three Mondays from 5:30-7 PM.

One million pennies will make ten thousand dollars to construct a special area for teens in our library. Come Monday nights and see the plans and enjoy hot dogs a lot tastier than five dollar DodgerDogs…and help a great cause.
