Pole Creek Wildfire Impacts Mail Delivery; Customers May Pick Up Mail at Post Office Mail delivery impacted by Pole Creek Wildfire

PAYSON, Utah – The U.S. Postal Service is advising that any residents of the Elk Ridge, Payson Canyon and Woodland Hills areas forced to evacuate their homes because of the Pole Creek Wildfire may pick up their mail at alternate locations until further notice.
Those evacuated in the Elk Ridge and Payson Canyon areas may pick up their mail at the Payson
Post Office, 955 E. 100 North. Weekday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The phone number for the Payson Post Office is 801-465-0564.
Those evacuated in the Woodland Hills area may pick up their mail at the Salem Post Office at
134 E. 200 North. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
The phone number for the Salem Post Office is 801-423-7894.
Customers are asked to present photo identification when picking up their mail.
Decisions on future changes to mail delivery will be made and updated after consulting with local
emergency managers. Mail delivery will continue in areas where it is safe to do so.
Postal Service customers are encouraged to sign up for Informed Delivery -- a free USPS service
that allows postal customers to digitally preview their incoming mail and manage packages scheduled
to arrive. Sign up at informeddelivery.usps.com.
