Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.  All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” ~ Helen Keller

Forthcoming funeral services are planned for the following friends from our community. Complete versions of these obituaries may also be found in The Payson Chronicle.
Larry Halvan Farr
Our Father, Larry Halvan Farr was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa when he left our family to return home to our Heavenly Father. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 3, 2018, at the age of eighty.

We will forever remember the many lessons Dad taught us: how to serve others, hard work, and pride in a job well done.

We will miss his strong hands, big voice and even bigger heart as we surround our Mother, Elaine Farr, in love and support.

Dad was preceded in death by his parents, Halvan and Lula Farr, as well as his sister Clela Barnett and son-in-law Jerry Buys Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine, and his eight children, Greg (Patricia) Farr, Payson, UT; Laurie Lewis, Springville, UT; Cindy (Jerry Jr.) Buys, St. George, UT; Willeta (Mark) Hogan, Springlake, UT; Tonya (Ben) Cluff, Payson UT; Lainie (Todd) Sorensen, Payson, UT; Elary (Ron) Brown, Orem, UT; Kimra (Garrett) Bishop, Santaquin UT. Larry has 40 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Brookside 1st Ward, 952 West 1580 South, Payson, Utah. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah. A visitation will also be held prior to the funeral service from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at the Santaquin City Cemetery.

We will miss you, Dad.
