Angel Moroni Statue Securely in Place

Crowds gathered a near distance from the Payson Utah LDS Temple, earlier today, to witness history in the making. They were there to watch as a golden statue of the Angel Moroni was lifted by crane and then carefully secured high upon the new LDS Temple's steeple.  Find out more about this this special event in next week's edition of The Payson Chronicle.

Several generations of Spencers as the statue is hoisted toward the temple's steeple: (left-right) Payson Fire Chief Scott Spencer, his son Ben Spencer, and father and fellow firefighter, Stan Spencer, standing next to his brother, Blaine Spencer.
