Meet The Candidates: Payson

Payson City Council candidates (pictured left-right) James Ewell, incumbent Councilman Mike Hardy, Rhett Huff, and incumbent Councilman Scott Phillips, along with Mayor Rick Moore, who runs unopposed for his role as city leader in the upcoming election.

Candidates vying for two open seats on Payson’s City Council shared their platforms and discussed concerns posed by community members last night.  Held in the spacious Payson City Banquet Hall, the October 16 Meet the Candidate Night, hosted by the Payson Chamber of Commerce, was a well attended discussion.  If you missed last night’s event, turn to this week’s edition of The Payson Chronicle, for candidate stories and photos.
