A 5 PM work session will likely occur prior to the November 18 regular city council meeting in Payson. City Manager Dave Tuckett noted last Wednesday that the additional time has been requested by UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) to allow them to share at length findings from an environment impact study (EIS) they conducted to evaluate the interchange at Main Street (SR-115) and I-15.
Councilman Kim Hancock concurred with the request, emphasizing the importance of the study.
Payson’s city council meeting will open to the public at its usual hour of 6 PM. A public hearing on the EIS could take place in early December, according to Mr. Tuckett.
