Coming Up Next Week: Steve Southwick Is Happiest When In The Service Of Others

(Above) Steve Southwick, photographed outside The Payson Chronicle Office at 145 East Utah Avenue, Payson, last month. Look for the Chronicle's interview with Mr. Southwick in next week's print edition.
Steve Southwick was named Lion of the Year, an award presented to him at the Payson & Santaquin Area Chamber of Commerce Installation banquet earlier this year. Those who know Mr. Southwick understand that his contributions reach far beyond the Payson club’s efforts.

“I’ve been lucky,” he told The Payson Chronicle.  “I’m doing what I enjoy.  I’m retired and in the position to do that. I think most people would in my position, they’d do the same thing.  These last years of my life are the happiest.  They really are.”
