Throwback Thursday (1993): Chronicle Powers That Be Interview With Councilman Russell Hillman

In the early 1990s, The Payson Chronicle published a series of interviews with local "powers that be." Pictured above is the front page of the newspaper published  on January 20, 1993, which featured one such leader, the then-Payson City Councilman Russell Hillman.   The interview took place at the Payson City Landfill.  The site was one of the councilman's responsibilities during his term as city councilman.  The discussion revolved around the landfill's status, possible flooding due to heavy snowfall, and curb and gutter concerns.
