Great Peteetneet Duck Race A Raiser Of Funds For Museum

Revelers won’t want to duck out of the Peteetneet’s annual Golden Onion Days fundraiser — the Great Peteetneet Duck Race. The race commences Monday, September 7, at Memorial Park, starting at 4 PM, with rubber duck “adoptions” available prior.
Stop by the Peteetneet Museum and Cultural Arts Center to get your ducks in row for this fun fund-racer. Adoptions cost $5 per duck. With five adoptions, the sixth little racer is free.
The race location is near the restrooms and rock bridge in Memorial Park. Prizes will be awarded to the first three ducks that cross the finish line on Labor Day afternoon.
