The 50th Annivesary of the dedication service for camp KOHOLOWO, situated near the top of Payson and Santaquin Canyons, took place Saturday, August 18th, 2012, with President Roy Silcox conducting the event.  The program included musical numbers and a reading by Cathy Rawson of Sylvia Hansen’s “Legend of Koholowo,” written for the orginal dedication in 1962.  A video presentation, “Memories of the Koholowo Pioneers,” was also part of the program, and those who attended Saturday’s ceremony enjoyed a dutch oven meal.

Look for a continuation of the dedication services, along with additional photos, in next week's printed edition of The Payson Chronicle.
