Rod Miller won the 2015 Western Writers of America Spur Award for Juvenile Fiction with RAWHIDE ROBINSON RIDES THE RANGE: TRUE ADVENTURES OF BRAVERY AND DARING IN THE WILD WEST. The Goshen native and PHS alumnus has also won awards for his cowboy poetry and short biographies, and has written novels, history, biography, and articles on a wide variety of topics related to the West. In January, Mr. Miller will serve as a judge at the annual Cowboy Poetry Symposium in Payson. Find out more about the event and Rod Miller in this week's edition of The Payson Chronicle.
