Wesley Robert Gonzales
Our loving son, brother, father and friend, Wesley Robert Gonzales passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Wes will be remembered for his smile, sense of humor and love for others.
Wesley was born February 18, 1977 in Payson, Utah. He attended school in Santaquin and graduated from Payson High in 1991. Wes loved life, his family and living in Utah. Spending time in the mountains hunting, hiking, biking and skiing always made him so happy to be outdoors.
Wes struggled for many years with the dreadful and destructive disease of addiction. He wanted so much to escape its powerful influence and fought with a brave heart and might resolve to build a life absent of its effects. For this, we who love Wes honor him and express our great love for him. We will miss him every day and his smile will never be forgotten.
Wesley Robert was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Robert and Emma Gonzales and Glen R. and Sadie Jarvis. He is survived by his parents, Robert Jr. and Judy J. Gonzales of Santaquin; his amazing sons, Rikely C. and Tobin James Gonzales; sister Robbie L. (Shayne) Ford; brother, Rick G. (Heidre) Gonzales; nieces Ciara L. Ford, Flame R. Gonzales; nephews Boarden and Sunny Gonzales, McCade and Cole Ford; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who shared so many great times with Wes.
Special thank you to Amber Anderson and her family. Your unconditional love for Wes means so much. He loved your family just like his own.
We celebrate your life Wes and love you forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Wesley’s life at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin on Tuesday, January 9th from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. Graveside services will follow at the Santaquin City Cemetery. Share condolences at www.brownfamilymortuary.com.
