Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

Forthcoming funeral services are planned for the following friends from our community. Complete versions of these obituaries may also be found in The Payson Chronicle.

Yvonne (Bonnie) Herbert
Yvonne (Bonnie) Tanner Herbert, age 84 of Goshen, passed away May 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born October 21, 1933 in Helena, Montana. 
Bonnie was raised by her grandparents, Sidney and Amy Tanner, until she was 9 years old in Hill Spring, Alberta, Canada before moving to Provo, Utah.  She attended school in Hill Spring and Franklin Elementary in Provo, Goshen Elementary, Payson Jr. and Sr. High Schools.

She married Blair Herbert June 8, 1951 in the Manti LDS Temple and raised four children, Tanya, Michael, Timothy and Dana.  She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many callings during her lifetime.

She is survived by her husband, Blair; children, Tanya Dorez, Mesa, AZ, Michael and Joy Herbert, Lehi, Dana Herbert, Goshen, Timothy and Amy Herbert , Lehi; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Helen Gressman, Marlene Marshall and Marjorie Nelson; sister-in-law, Nyla Neil; brothers-in-law, Blake Herbert and Dale Herbert.  She was preceded in death by Willis Avery Finch, Leonore Harris Finch, Sarge Thompson, Nora Davis, Leo Finch, Zelda Vest, Jr., Herbert June Stanton and Darlene Taylor.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospice nurses, Robyne and Shelly, for their compassionate service during this time.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Goshen LDS Church, 75 So. Center. Friends may call at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 EastTuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and Wednesday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 amprior to services. Interment, Goshen Cemetery.
