Pigeons In The Park Takes Place This Saturday

Hal (right) and wife Rebecca (left) Peery and the pigeons they care for and who, in return, provide a sense of peace as well as purpose in recreation.

Enjoy a day with the birds at Memorial Park this Saturday, June 29, from 10 AM - 2 PM.  Pigeons in The Park is a free event hosted by Utah County Racing Pigeon Association President Hal Peery.  Learn about pigeons and a hobby that is reclaiming its place in the hearts of enthusiasts old and young.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be part of a light lunch served that afternoon.  An auction will take place,
too, with professional art and pigeon-related items up for bid to raise funds to help sustain
local programs.

Memorial Park is located at 250 South Main Street, Payson, Utah.  This event will take place in the new
north-side pavilion.
