Lions Discuss Financial and Societal Investments at January 28 Meeting

Lions and colleagues, Adam Sevy (left) and Bill Loucks, CFP (right), photographed together during the January 28 Payson Lions Club meeting held at the Peteetneet Museum and Cultural Arts Center.  Mr. Sevy and Mr. Loucks share membership in LCI (Lions Clubs International). Sevy is a Payson Lion. Loucks is with the newly formed Provo Lions Club, which is currently a branch of the Payson charter.  The Lions’ civic affiliation branches into the realm of career through their work at Mountain America Credit Union.  A Senior Wealth Advisor, Mr. Loucks was invited by his colleague to join the local meeting and discuss investing in volatile times with Payson members.  The meeting concluded with talk concerning Provo Lions’ investment in knowledge in the realm of the area's youth. A book drive is currently being conducted.  The goal?  Seven hundred books for students at Walden School of Liberal Arts in Provo.  Roughly 300 of the 400 books already collected have been contributed by Cathy Adams of the Nephi Lions Club, according to Jennifer Huff, Payson Lions Club Secretary. More to come in the upcoming edition of The Payson Chronicle.
