Beth Ballard Whitney
Together Again
Beth Ballard Whitney, 96, was born in Payson, Utah, on July 4, 1920, to Ivon Lee Ballard and Emma Catherine Okelberry. Married Dale Cameron Olsen, later divorced. Married Marion Dalton (Jack) Whitney July 25, 1959, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 26, 1968.
Beth worked alongside her sister Fern Ballard at the Beehive Beauty Salon for decades. She also did hair for Neil O’Donnell & Sons Mortuary and Larkin Mortuary.
She is survived by two children, Marian (Scott) Hendricks of Amarillo, Texas, and Russell M. (Angela) Whitney of South Jordan, Utah, Eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Copper Ridge Health Care along with Susanne of Symbii Home Health and Hospice, for treating our mother with great dignity and compassion for many years. Appreciation is also extended to the members and Branch Presidency of the Jordan Oaks 9th Branch.
Graveside services will be held on November 12, 2016, 11:00 am at the Payson City Cemetery, Payson, Utah.
