| The Boys in the Team (pictured above in 1957 or 1958) were born between 1945, when the Cubs of Chicago lost the World Series in the seventh game to the Tigers of Detroit, and 1948, when the Indians of Cleveland won the World Series by defeating the Braves of Boston four games to two in the first nationally televised World Series. These boys are quintessential Baby Boomers of WWII.
