Mark your calendars NOW – Friday, April 1st , 2016 - No “Foolin”. Santaquin American Legion Auxiliary Post #84 is having an “April Fool” Spring Fling Dinner and Bingo Fundraiser. Cost is $7.50 per person.
The buffet menu includes BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, rolls, baked beans, chips, a variety of salads and dessert. The Bingo games are free with the dinner.
There will also be a special prize for our “April Fool” crazy hat contest. Raffle “door prize” tickets will also be for sale. We would appreciate an RSVP to Chris Richins 801-754-1131. The dinner will be held in the Santaquin Senior Citizen/Veterans Center, 45 West 100 So. Santaquin, at 6 PM.
We would like to thank the Old Pioneer Press in Santaquin for donating our large outdoor “Dinner and Bingo” advertising banner, free of charge, and Jeff's Hot Rod Diner for allowing us to display the sign in front of the diner. We cannot thank them enough.
Our fundraiser this year is the IndependenceFund.org. The Fund provides tools, therapies and resources to America's combat wounded veterans. You can check out their 2015 annual report on line. It is best known for its “Track Chairs” which are all terrain wheelchairs that allow the Veterans to go almost anywhere, including hunting and stream fishing, so they can have a more normal life.
Join us for an evening of food, and fun, and don't forget your hat!
