Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

ANTHONY DOUGLAS RIVERA

Anthony Douglas Rivera passed away on March 7, 2016, in Meadview, Arizona. He was born in Augsburg, Germany on February 26, 1964 to Guillermo Rivera, and Reah May Davis Rivera. He was the youngest of four children.  Because of his father's service in the Army, Anthony's early years were spent in Germany; Ft. Huachuca, AZ; Ft. Ord, CA; Quito, Ecuador and Balboa Canal Zone in Panama.  He graduated in 1983 from Payson High School where he was known as “Bubba."  Because of his father's service in the Army, Anthony's early years were spent in Germany; Ft. Huachuca, AZ; Ft. Ord, CA; Quito, Ecuador and Balboa Canal Zone in Panama.  Anthony is survived by his siblings, Cathleen (Joel) Moffat, Willy (Sheri) Rivera, and Dan Rivera, as well as many other supportive and loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed. His family takes much comfort in knowing he has returned to his Heavenly Home and reunited with his parents.  Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service and interment that will be held at the Payson Cemetery on April 2, 2016 at 11:30.
