In the Pursuit of One Million Pennies

The anniversary of Payson Lions’ club charter, as well as a kickoff for the club’s bold new fundraiser, called for a special celebration last night.  Members (pictured) met at Dalton’s Restaurant in Payson where they substituted business for conversation, along with dinner served by the restaurant’s friendly staff.

President Rhett Huff (pictured) oversaw the deliverance of the club’s latest contribution, copper coins for the club’s One Million Pennies campaign, money that will be used toward a local public project.  More details on the project and how you can donate to come.
