Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

CALVIN RAYMOND CLAYSON

Calvin Raymond Clayson passed away Friday March 25, 2016 of causes incident to age.   He was born in Provo, Utah on December 15, 1931 to his parents Ralph Essom and Emily Reva Wride Clayson.   Cal was raised in Lake Shore, Utah, and graduated from Payson High School.  He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.  Cal is survived by his children: Dirk (Lorretta) Clayson, Kanab; Teresa Fowden, Santaquin; Doni (Alan) Bufton, Payson; and Brenda Clayson, Laguna Hills, Callifornia.  He is also survived by his stepchildren: Gary (Angie) Stewart, Spanish Fork; and Kristine (Rick) Stewart Bates, Riverton.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; his parents and sisters Ila Beardall, Fay Andreason, Dixie Emery, and his brother Howard.  He was also preceded in death by his son Wade, and grandson, Colton Stewart. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 31st at 11:00 AM at the Santaquin North Stake Center located at 500 North 200 East, Santaquin.  A viewing will be held March 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, and from 9:45 to 10:45 AM prior to the services.
