Congressman John Curtis Guest Speaker At Upcoming Chamber Banquet

Utah 3rd District Congressman John Curtis

On February 9th the Payson & Santaquin Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Installation and Awards Banquet.  The Chamber of Commerce holds their annual banquet in the beginning of each year to celebrate the accomplishments of the previous year, officially install their Board of Directors, take a sneak peek at the plans for the coming year and award those businesses that have made an impact the previous year.
The Chamber is excited to welcome the newly elected Congressman John Curtis as their guest speaker at this year’s banquet.  The Congressman was elected in a special election last November to replace Congressman Jason Chaffetz who had stepped down mid-term.  Even though Congress is in session right now, Congressman Curtis will spend an evening in Payson addressing the participants at the banquet.

“We are very excited to have the Congressman as our guest speaker.” said Executive Director Shelly Thompson.  “This is a big deal!  We are looking forward to showing our Congressman the many wonderful successes of the Payson and Santaquin Area and hearing what he has to say about his first term in office.”
The event is open to the public and is sure to be an evening to remember for all those that attend.  This year the banquet will be held at the Clarion Gardens Event Center, 463 E. 100 N. in Payson beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $30/person or $50/couple.  Tickets can be purchase at the US Bank inside Smiths at the Chamber of Commerce office 805 S. 500 W. #7 in Payson or online at www.PaysonSantaquinArea.com.
