Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

Donald Earl Allbee


Donald Earl Allbee, 85, of Payson, Utah, passed away on February 10, 2018.  Donald was born on January 4, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa, to parents Charles Earl and Ruth Higgins Allbee.

He married Beverly Jean Meredith on October 8, 1951 in Lehi, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple. Together they had Don Eugene, Edward Meredith, Bruce Earl and Daniel P Allbee.

Donald worked as an equipment operator for the Battle Mountain Gold Company for 25 years and retired in 1993. He also served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Donald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Donald is survived by his son Daniel P. Allbee, a grandson Kenneth Monroe Allbee, brothers Gene and Bill Allbee, and brother-in-laws Melvin Meredith (Muriel), Paul Meredith (Linda). He is also survived by Joyce Jones (John) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sons; Don Eugene Allbee, Edward Meredith Allbee, and Bruce Earl Allbee.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah.
