JULIE STEVENSON
Julie Cheever Stevenson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away at home on Monday,
February 26, 2018. She suffered from multiple health problems for a number of years.

Julie was born October 28, 1949 in Payson, Utah. She was the daughter of George A. Cheever Jr. and Marion
Edith Clark. She was the second of six children, which included two sets of twins younger than her.

Julie attended schools in Payson, UT, and graduated from Payson High School in 1967. She attended Dixie
College, Snow College, and graduated from Brigham Young University just prior to her marriage.

She met the love of her life, L. Dee Stevenson, and they were married on October 6, 1971. They were later
sealed for time and eternity in the Manti Temple.

While rearing her young family, she was a stay-at-home mom. She always felt it was important to be at home
while raising her family. Being a wife and mother were her greatest joys in life.

Julie was a skilled seamstress. She made many beautiful quilts for friends and family. Her favorite church calling
was being a cub scout leader and serving in the primary.

She was very proud of her children, and being a grandmother was one of the highlights of her life. She loved
spending time with each one of them, and in return, they loved her very much.

She is survived by her husband and children: Andrea Eliason (Jeff), Lehi, UT; Clark Stevenson, Payson, UT; Patrick
Stevenson (Julie), Raleigh, NC; Corrie Stevenson, Payson, UT; Spencer Stevenson (Teresa), Payson, UT; seven
grandchildren: Abbey and Emrey Eliason; Ethan, Yates and Mercedes Stevenson; Zoe and Peyton Stevenson.
She is also survived by two sisters: Janet Turner (Jim) and Rose Jackson (Rod); as well as three brothers, Mark
Cheever (Kelley); Bruce Cheever (Michelle); and Grant Cheever.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 11:30 am at the Payson 5th Ward, 711 S. Peteetneet Blvd. (600
East), Payson, Utah, where Viewings will be held Friday, March 2nd from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and prior to services on
Saturday from 10:00 to 11:15 am. Interment in Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.

Our family would like to thank Dr. John Ryan, Erin Micaelis NP, and the staff of the University of Utah Medical Center.
We would also like to thank her family doctor, Dr. Garry Miller of Revere Health in Salem. All the individuals showed
great love and compassion, as well as extending outstanding care. We would also like to thank Bonnie Ballard Valdez
and Cami Jensen of iCare Hospice for the excellent care of our mother. They were more than just care givers, they
were also friends who loved her until the last days of her life.
