Mourning the Passing of Friends: Forthcoming Funeral Services

KATHLEEN BELL
October 9, 1945 – February 5, 2018

Kathleen (Larsen) Bell (72) of Albany passed away on Monday February 5, 2018. She was born in Payson, UT to Howard A. Larsen and Marjorie Hemsley on October 9, 1945. She grew up in Payson and graduated from Payson High School in 1963. She then went to Business school, after graduating she worked at the Army Depot in Toole, UT and then at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. While in Washington, D.C. she meet William G. Bell whom she married in the LDS Laie Hawaii Temple on January 16, 1970. They settled in Albany, OR and raised 5 children.

Kathy was a homemaker for many years. She later worked for the Albany school district in Special Education. She faithfully served in many positions in the LDS church, including eight years as a temple worker in the Portland Oregon Temple. She enjoyed painting, sewing and swimming at the community pool where she made many dear friends.

Kathy loved being with her family- especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her children Jason Bell (Lisa) of Utah, Heather Baze (Dezmith) of Oregon, Amy Lewis (Charles) of Texas, Jared Bell (Camille) of Indiana, Rachel Witbeck (Erik) of Arizona; 21 grandchildren; her sister Margene Nielsen, brothers John, Brent and Gary Larsen and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a very kind, generous, wise and helpful woman who will be greatly missed. 
A viewing will begin at 10am Friday February 9th at the Albany 28th Street Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with a funeral service then beginning at 11am.  Interment will be at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.  Online condolences for the family may be posted at www.fisherfuneralhome.com.
